How did we get here?

The idea for this company began in 2019 in (DOMINICAN REPUBLIC) when our president, Mr. Sergio D. Rosario, was selling pastries and empanadas to grocery stores at a stand he owned. At that time, he managed to see a need that customers in his home country had. There was no security in making purchases online, there were many scams, and he did not agree that the middle class had to travel to buy something when the technology already existed to buy online and have it delivered to their workplace or residence. That same year, he managed to set up a store in a small location with his website where he sold and delivered it to the customer. The pandemic came in 2020 and everything fell apart. Our president had managed to build a clientele; in the midst of the pandemic, people were no longer buying only basic necessities (food, electricity, etc.). Our president had no choice but to become a taxi driver. He continued like this for a long time, working long hours to support his family.

Currently, our president, over time and through hard work, was able to establish what it is today (YUKA STORE), fulfilling his dream of providing the middle class with a safe place to shop. Today, we serve customers not only in the Dominican Republic but also throughout the United States.
